professional upholstery cleaning

I've just moved into a great place except the cream color sofa is filthy. I don't really want to fork out for a new one so would prefer to have it cleaned. Where can I find a professional upholstery Cleaner with one of those wet /dry vacuum cleaners? Does not have to speak English. Thanks.

Hmm... No idea. You could head to your local dry cleaner and ask if they know anyone who can help you out. Or you could go to a B&Q or hardware store and see if they sell upholstery cleaner...

Just to update you, I found a professional cleaner and he is brilliant. He came and got my near black cream-coloured sofa back to an almost perfect cream colour again. I found his shop while I was walking in Shida market. He only speaks Mandarin and his no is 02-2366-1938. Very reasonable charges.

That sounds good. Yeah, it's amazing what people charge here to come to your house and fix stuff. The locksmith charges us 200 NT to unlock our door when we lock ourselves out. I don't even worry about locking myself out anymore because I know it's really cheap to get the locksmith to come and open the door.

Thanks for the info on the guy in Shida. Hopefully he'll be one of those guys who will be around for a long time and this thread will direct other folks to him.
