I am unable to view any posts from when I last logged in. When I choose this option, I always get an error message (something like "no posts match your search").

OK, so I try the view posts from the last 1/2/3 days. No matter which option I choose, I am able to see one page of recent posts. However, when I click on page 2, I get that same error message ("No posts match your search.")

Can anybody help me with this. I usually like to browse and see what has been posted in all the forums since my last visit. I'd like to be able to do that again.

Thanks a lot.

I have also had the same problem fee. After doing some testing I think this is a problem on our side with the Taiwan Ho! style.

I tried it with the other two styles and it worked fine, so for the moment can you log in and change the style, SubSilver is a generic one if you don't like the dark background.

Sorry about that, I will redo the Taiwan Ho! style and see if that fixes the problem.

FYI Mal, whenever I get logged out the log in page defaults to Taiwan Ho! style.

Hope this helps.

This happens on my computer at home that is Windows 98 Chinese but at work I have Windows 2000 English and everything is okay. I use the Taiwanho style in both places. When I get home I will change styles.

Thanks, Malc.

I'll give that a whirl and see how it goes.

OK, that seems to help a bit.

However, even after I change to sub silver, it still defaults back to the "Taiwan Ho" style after I search for posts in the last 1/2/3/4 days. In other words, I can change to sub silver but after searching for posts from the past, it goes back to the default to display the results.

Oh, well. I'll keep trying. Thanks for your help.

So which is the "right" style ? I'm using the dark maroon one, which is working ok at the moment, but the "new posts" wasn't working for me a few days ok, or was that just at home ? Didn't really pay much attention

I have changed your default style to SubSilver now, but you might still need to clear your cache to have effect, then I hope it will be okay.

The maroon one "should" be okay BFM.

I've been having the same problem from time to time over the last few days. Though I'm not able the new posts right away I am able to view them eventually.

Thanks a lot, Malc.

Unfortunately, I am still getting that same error message (No topics or posts meet your serach criteria) most of the time. But a few times I am able to see the second and third pages of posts from all the posts from the last few days.

May I ask how I do this. My cache in IE?

Thanks again for all the help. I think we'll get this figured out soon and it will be smooth sailing from there. The funny thing is that I never had this problem in the past. A few months ago, I was able to read all the posts over the last week (I was busy and couldn't check the Ho that much--only once a week or so  ) without any problems at all.

Right then, I have stripped the theme right down in the hopes that this sorts out any clash between my code and the existing code.

Is this any better?

Things have been working well on my ibook since last night Mal.

you may have noticed a quadrupelling of recent posts 8O .

I'll continue to monitor and get back to you. One thing I did notice was that the log in box now stretches across the whole page. Nothing to worry about. I like 'em big....... =P~

OK, I can't use the site at all unless I check the "keep logged in" button.

This is my fifth post!

However, if I check the keep logged in" option, I can't access new posts because my last and current login dates will always be the same, so there are no "new" posts.

I give up. Maybe it'll be all right in the morning.

Ah ha! Taiwan Beer has at last discovered the secret directive in place for many weeks: Keep Taiwan Beer from posting at all costs! 8)

I'll let tech support know about your problem. Sorry you've had difficulty posting of late. Please keep trying.
