I've been sticking to beer mostly. It's a bit cold for that in Taiwan, of course, but in a warm restaurant with hot food, beer still hits the spot in the winter.

Other times, I've been drinking scotch. Got a couple of big bottles of Glenmorangie at Costco over the last few months and I really enjoyed that. I like the original, 10-year variety. I tried the fancier ones (aged longer and using fancier wood or burned wood), but I prefer the 10-year variety. I also got a bottle of Kavalan for Christmas that I really liked. But it's a bit pricey and I don't see buying a bottle myself when I could get two bottles of something else I enjoy as much.
